PODS worked out well for us. We had the unit over one Winter and Spring. It was well built. No leakage, no problem with insects or rodents. We live in a wooded area and have raccoons that can get into anything except our POD. It held a lot and the overhead door worked well. Pleasant company to deal with and the delivery and pickup was prompt and professional.
Horrible experience. I was "accidentally charged" $240 4 different times in the past 2 months of having a Pod. All I get is a "sorry about that, we'll refund your money as soon as we can." I'm glad I've had enough in my account to cover these "accidental" charges or I'd be the one paying the overdraft fees. Be careful and check your account. Very shady. I'll never use them again.
Pods will go above and beyond to make sure the customer is happy. One of the last company's that believes the customer is always right. Or as much as they can . You can't please everyone.
Pods was the perfect solution for us to move things from Seattle to Ohio. Drop off was exactly when they said it would be, pick up and transport went smoothly as planned, arrival in Streetsboro was on time, then delivery to the final destination was a breeze. After unloading, pick up of the empty unit was scheduled and they were right on time. Communication with customer service was excellent. I would recommend pods for any move.
I used pod to store my furniture and personal belongings while I was in the process of selling a home and moving into another home. While at the pod storage facility someone broke into my pod and stole my television when I received the Pod to my new home I have muddy Footprints all on my furniture and a TV with missing the lock had not been cut but there was pry marks and the latch was broken due to its flimsiness. I would never use the service again I would advise all of my family and friends never to use this service again due to it not being a secure means of storage. If you do choose to use it make sure you do not leave anything valuable in there that can be stolen and carried away easily.
